Tickets are mandatory for entry to the event. No tickets will be available at the door. A guest list will not be honored, and all attendees must possess valid ID, a ticket, and a signed waiver for admission.

The ticket price contributes to the financing of fencing, waste management, security, unique souvenirs (pendants and goodies), sound stages, venue rental, and various other aspects. Complete financial disclosures from previous years can be found on the website.

Embracing the principle of radical self-reliance is crucial to sustaining this event's success. Vending is strictly prohibited at this gathering, necessitating attendees to bring all essentials for their intended 3 or 4-day stay.

Furthermore, The Love Burn follows the Burner principle of Leaving No Trace. All items brought in must depart with you. Waste containers are conveniently placed at the exit for organized disposal of your belongings.

Artistic expressions are highly encouraged, and volunteers are warmly welcomed. Attendees play both the roles of entertainment and audience at this event. Each participant is encouraged to volunteer for a minimum of 4 hours during the event. With most shifts being just 2 hours long, volunteering is easily achievable and presents opportunities to interact with fellow participants.
